Hello,

It just occurred to me for the first time that I don’t have a single picture showing such a window from the inside ... added to my to-do list

Instead, you will find attached pictures showing the fighter windows in the facade; sometimes with, sometimes without French balcony. Additionally, pictures from the ongoing construction project, but in the raw state.

Rhenish regards

Super thanks! Now we also have a picture of the final result

What would be suitable for our lower fixed glazing on the upper floor? With or without a mullion?

Hello,

looks (to me) good as it is!

That depends on the preference of the person who will clean your windows. I am certainly not bored, so (in my house) there would be no mullion in the laminated safety glass. Being able to clean one flat surface goes much faster

One more question: I am quite an eye person and the asymmetry of the windows in relation to the attic and consequently the loft would really bother me. Have you considered shifting the windows downstairs in the living room (?) so that from top to bottom they form a kind of pyramid?

Rhenish greetings

Isn't that a matter of taste? I would always prefer without a mullion... I find it nicer, as little framing as possible... It's also drawn like that now and looks stylish!

Have to dig up the thread again:

How do the costs of fixed glazing compare to those of French balconies?

Also remember that you will always have a "crossbar" in your window from the bottom fixed glazing panel. I did not like either option (fixed glazing and regular French balcony). That is why I decided on the glass variant. From the inside, no parapet is visible.
