Hello,
there is the possibility of the "fighter elements" - here 90 cm of the window fulfill the requirement for a safe railing by means of laminated safety glass (VSG). As Kisska correctly wrote, this version is not so easy to maintain => risk of accidents!
We then go and "reduce" the proportion of laminated safety glass by constructing part of it from masonry and then "filling up" to 90 cm. So for example, instead of a 2.135 m floor-to-ceiling window element, first about 38 cm of masonry and then a 1.76 m window element, of which only about 53 cm are made of laminated safety glass. This has the advantage that it is easier to maintain - especially no risk of accidents - and flowers or decorations can be placed in the lower area, for example. If the upper sash is to be opened, the "beautification" below can remain in place.
