I find the idea, to put the striped thickenings and the large part of the slab in separate construction phases, to be, to put it kindly, "unusual".

The frost skirt will be insulated, but that is doubtful given the unnecessary strip foundation under the future terrace. My goal would be to have this excess removed. The cut rebar must be sealed. Or at least thermally separated (wider cut) and compensated by pouring a slab for the terrace, provided that ceramic or similar is to be laid.

That means with the "not yet cast" slab you mean the flat part of the slab, but the strips already exist?
Apart from the fact that they are probably placed incorrectly now (I do not assume a 3m construction grid of your house floor plan), I find the idea, to put the striped thickenings and the flat part of the slab in separate construction phases, to say the least, "unusual." I still have no idea what formwork blocks have to do with the whole story. Maybe you should illustrate this nonsense first before we talk more about the sauce :)

Thank you very much for all the helpful contributions (except 11ant). Really, you have helped me a lot, you don't deal with this every day. We will probably have to have the existing foundations torn down and start over. Although the option calculated by the structural engineer is faster and can be implemented with less effort and is equally checked, we just have a bad feeling.
Annoying, but probably the best solution.
