Flooring. Laminate, engineered parquet, vinyl? Where is the best place to buy?

This is what our floor looks like. Bobby cars are driven on it, doll prams, Duplo is played with, and so on.

Same question here – this is now oiled, not sealed solid parquet (which wood?)? Cost per square meter for material costs?

That has only been oiled after installation.

These are solid oak floorboards.
Current price is around €60 per sqm, we bought it for €30.

As long as a small child lives in the room, you cannot really speak of proper wear, an oak floor will surely endure that. Most people don’t have much more stress on their floors and are probably happy with them. I don’t want a wooden floor in my next house because it simply isn’t dog claw-proof and also can’t handle dog pee.

Is all of this "nonsense" or what? Oiled parquet in the bathroom and kitchen, ignore all care instructions and instead of weekly treatment with wood floor soap and care oil, never do it at all?
