had already bought transition profiles for all doors. But in the end, I was not willing to accept the visual disaster ;-)
My picture shows the transition from click parquet (living kitchen) to tiles (bathroom). The living kitchen is about 5m deep, the bathroom 3m. It has been this way for 2 years now, and there have been no problems so far. I tried to make the joint perfectly parallel ;-) by manually working and fitting the last narrow strip of parquet for a long time. Then I had the painter fill the joint with permanently elastic joint compound.
For my tenant above me, I had the transition from click vinyl (living kitchen) to tiles (bathroom) made exactly the same way. Here too, I manually worked the last piece of vinyl until the edge to the tiles was almost perfect. To this day, there have been no problems with the transition. Soon I will have a little cabinet built under the stairs upstairs. On that occasion, I would be happy to provide a photo.
My solution may drive a professional floor layer to despair ;-), but it holds perfectly and was the most pleasant solution for me (not the easiest, the small strip of parquet cost me several hours).
P.S. The visible screw hole (in the eye of the knot) could be closed almost invisibly, but I want to be reminded of the craftsmanship task I solved when looking at the screw ... The screw itself is technically necessary and indispensable.
