Don’t you know the orientation? Don’t you want any input?

I'm not saying that you could only shoot yourself if this were the last free plot of land in the world. Rather: as long as other developers still have beautiful daughters, you should keep looking.

The garden is oriented to the southwest. The property is located in a metropolitan area. There is not a rental or purchase object available every week. Therefore, in our view, you cannot always find the perfect property, or how much longer do we want to keep looking. Since both of us are almost always disqualified from the publicly advertised building areas (age, children too old, work not at the place of residence, etc.), the property would be quite interesting. YPG, do you have a few more ideas for me? I want to design the lower area as open as possible.

Search for Schwabenhaus FAME-E-104. It is 6m wide, but might have a few ideas for you. I think moving the entrance on the garage side further toward the center of the house has advantages for the room layout. I would also experiment with a double-spiral staircase opposite ... What wall thicknesses does the house have? With the limited width, it is very important to reduce them as much as possible.

Yes, actually I do. This has been a possibility since yesterday. If you could say (unfortunately you left out important details in the questionnaire... the questionnaire is from me, and every question has its justification. And the questionnaire is there so that I or we do not have to keep asking and waiting for information, because after three days even the most interesting question here in the forum is stale and the half-life of the thread is over), what your daily routine is like, or your age, so that conclusions can be drawn if you do not already reveal when someone is likely to be in the house for what (guest, study), in order to possibly move the garage to the other side. Although for that the site plan would be necessary again to see whether the garage can or may be on the other side, and the development plan would also be quite interesting here, whether there are any restrictions regarding the building window or what measurements are relevant, and are there neighbors who might be disadvantaged by terrace use somewhere??? For your information: I am not flipping back through other threads somewhere, but need information that is somewhat more tangible. If it becomes a problem: possibly mirror the house and omit a wall. The stairs could go anywhere... I would rather choose such a project than a standard house!

No. That takes away all elegance from the house.

Do you think so? Why? It creates a nice hallway on the upper floor with a window above the front door. I still have to think about the upper floor...
On the ground floor, less waste from hallways and more flexibility in living / dining / cooking.
