Ok thanks for the tips. There were no objections from the construction company, but I will bring it up. In terms of size, we are not the tallest with 1.76m and 1.70m. Therefore, the shower head does not need to hang as high as for people who are 2m tall. I like the short distance from the bedroom to the bathroom. We had also considered the mirror image of the [OG], but have not yet discussed it with the [GU].

I like the upper floor very much. Great with the previous tips! On the ground floor, the path from the entrance to the wardrobe is too long for me. Can't the WC and wardrobe be moved closer to the entrance and the utility room pushed towards the kitchen? Otherwise, I personally don't like these clipped corners, like at the door to the living room. But as often, it's a matter of taste. [emoji6]

Funny, so you have really decided on the FAM153 now?

We are still very happy with our house, we've been living in it for almost 2 years now.
Only sometimes I wish the kitchen were a bit bigger (but it's still OK as it is), but you have planned it a bit bigger anyway.
Otherwise, everything has proven itself well so far :)

By the way, smart that you have the door from the dressing room open into the hallway. We should have done that too, but nobody thought of it back then, and now it is sometimes a bit annoying.

When will it start?
I wish you a smooth construction process and that you will be just as satisfied in the end as we are :)

P.S. Our attic floor has been mirrored and we actually like it very much that way.
In the morning when getting up, we have the rising sun in the bathroom and bedroom, as well as during breakfast through the small kitchen window.
In the afternoon, the bedroom is shady, but you don't really spend time there during the day anyway.
The second children's room is my husband's office and in the evening, the sun shines beautifully into it, illuminating the whole room, and if you leave the door open in the evening, the sun radiates into the hallway and it looks as if you have a lamp turned on :)

I actually find the upper floor quite good, so just a few comments on the ground floor:

- I would probably move the utility room above the kitchen according to the plan and instead put the wardrobe and WC by the entrance.
Leave the WC window on the left side of the plan anyway, so it’s not directly next to the entrance.
This way, you cover a longer distance inside the building with dirty shoes to get to the wardrobe.

- Accordingly, I would change the opening direction of the front door.

- Do you really want to put cupboards to the left of the dining table?
I would consider putting a sliding door in front of it, so you can get from the kitchen to the table faster with the food. The detour would annoy me very quickly. But that’s a matter of taste ;)

- As someone who values a good position for the TV, I don’t like the living/dining room at all.
Therefore, I would probably move the TV wall further up according to the plan so that the distance couch <-> TV becomes smaller (6m distance!)

- Nice side effect: The guest room becomes bigger and more usable, and the bottleneck under the stairs is resolved.

Alternatively, one could consider swapping the living room with the kitchen. Then the kitchen would also be closer to the terrace.

I would, like my predecessor, place a sliding door between the kitchen and the dining room.

Upstairs, I would also mirror and swap the bedroom with the bathroom so that the bedroom does not adjoin the children's bathroom.

Oh, there is a similar house design available as a model home from the construction company. In that, one can check the points noted here and see how significant they appear at a 1:1 scale. By the way, that is a company that gives me a solid impression (Blohm).
