Are the gray lines the contour lines? Then the terrain slopes rather towards the east?

I don't really think of it as parallel, I rather suspect them to be the parcel boundaries of the fields before the land readjustment.

I like the idea of the partially integrated garage, thanks . The budgerigar splitting, on the other hand, is not really my thing, would they do that with elephants too? ;)
I couldn't find a floor plan with the garage in the north where the kitchen, dining room, and living room run around the corner and the kitchen is in the east. Since we would like that, I am trying a floor plan with the garage in the northwest, by the street.
The grey lines are former parcel boundaries. The slope runs from north to south.
I will get back to you when the new floor plans are ready.

Elephants are herd animals, metaphorically speaking your cars would then be together with the others on the whole street in a big garage. The individual 11ant, by the way, always only had single garages, even in the time with three cars :)

But it won't quite work like that. More likely with a carport. A garage usually needs to be 5 m away from the street. A carport might even be allowed right up to the street, depending on the building regulations.
