See house pictures thread, just posted.

My garden borders on a forest and I live where the sun rises. Can you guess the district?

Hello everyone, after some time I am checking back in from the off... We have now signed a contract for work and are moving towards submitting the building application. In several rounds with our planner and incorporating your feedback, many little things have still changed ;) A few more small things still need to be adjusted. That should then take place after the building permit during the final meeting. I will post the current plans and put a list under each floor with the points we still want to change.

Ground floor:

Here is our current kitchen plan:

Consideration: long partition wall between living and dining area possibly with a transom window, or only 1.9m high. I then have the question whether to finish the passage with a beam or something similar. The statically required support beam is located invisibly in the ceiling...

OG:

[*]I don't think the doors to the storage room and bathroom necessarily need to be 1m wide. Would you recommend 86 cm here or even going down to 73 cm? Especially in the bathroom, I see an advantage for a more spacious arrangement of the two sinks with a nice base cabinet.
[*]The shower is not quite right yet: We want to continue the 120 cm high installation wall behind the toilet here. This pushes the shower a bit further into the room, but in return we would gain a fixed shelf for shampoo and the like.
[*]We would move the bedroom door a bit upwards on the plan (actually almost north) and have it open to the left instead of to the right. This would allow the short wall section to be used with a nice chest of drawers. Less frequently used items would be stored in the closet behind the door.

DG:

[*]Move the door to children's room 2 towards the bottom of the plan so that there is space for a wardrobe behind it.
[*]Align the roof window in children's room 1 centrally.
[*]Knee wall doors: in K1 above the roof window and in K2 opposite the room door.
[*]K1: The room door should probably open to the right side of the plan instead of the left.

And here are a few more views:

From the garden side:

From the street side:

South side:

[*]On the garden side, I find that the divisions of the windows (kitchen and bedroom) are not quite proportional yet. In the bedroom, the transom may and should be about 10 cm lower. In the kitchen, it should be a little higher instead.
[*]The colors have nothing to do with our planning yet. I also find that the projection of the roof surface looks very strange and, of course, the other semi-detached house is completely missing...

How is the lighting of the hallway in the attic now intended? I also agree with hanging the door of Child 1 the other way around, and I would move the door of Child 2 far enough so that there is cupboard depth behind it. In the storage room and bathroom, I consider 76 cm doors sufficient, but 88.5 cm doors are not too generous either; in the bedrooms, I would choose 88.5 cm. I would choose the side roof overhang so that the overall semi-detached house does not look "crooked" because of it. I find the facade articulation tolerable as a deviation from the optimum, as with this house shape and size it often cannot be perfect. Are the plans for "the other half" known by now? Compliments for the articulation of the middle window on the gable side.
