If the option for a wheelchair exists, I would make every door at least 90, preferably 100 cm wide.

And in typical rooms like the bathroom, etc., pay attention to free movement space. In other places there is a lot of useless space that creates unnecessarily long work routes, e.g. kitchen unit about 600 cm wide, but almost 2 m distance to the refrigerator. And the communication effect with the 3 seats in a row at the peninsula does not arise with the kitchen workers either, since they have their back to the communication center.

I just roughly calculated the living area on the upper floor ... about 155 sqm ... plus the ground floor would then be over 300 sqm. And then a basement as well. I would also find the budget interesting and see it around a million. Nevertheless, a site plan would be useful once, showing the house to scale and also allowing some recognition of the neighboring buildings.

Can you please upload the site plan/property, either self-drawn or from a plan? And I’m not the only one who would like to know the budget ;)

Overall, I have to say that there is a bit too much of a mess: basically it’s good to think a lot about things, but you can also overthink a lot (kind of like overtalking). It doesn’t get better, but worse. Then a niche, a corner, and other things are squeezed in because one thinks the house gains in details, but the opposite is true. You can see it quite well in the labyrinthine hallway! Unfortunately, I have to say: back to square one and straighten everything out. Already the staircase, which presses up against the entrance and is just dark, is in my opinion wrongly placed. I don’t want to go into more details before the open questions are clarified.

Throw away the entire draft – not because it is bad, but because it is "contaminated." You can tell not only that the draft comes from a layperson, but also that it has accumulated an irretrievable number of knots over the years of incubation in your head. Having an architect "revise" it won’t help anymore. You should probably change the architect as well – not because they did something wrong, but for hygienic reasons: simply to avoid carrying over any remnants of the infection with the previous knots into the new design development. Even if ("L-Form") a certain intricacy of the overall building volume is desired: this thirty-some-degree hipped roof is "too much of a good thing," without bringing any intrinsic value. Distill a list from the requirements (and the points unsatisfactorily resolved here), and then let an architect develop a design without any further specifications. I wouldn’t be surprised for five shillings if the result turned out to be at least a solid quarter smaller while feeling like it has more living space.

Not having houses of this size designed by an architect with the corresponding budget would almost be environmental pollution. Either there is enough money, then it's also enough for a good architect, or it's a pipe dream.

I also find the dining area too small for the house size, while the living room is almost ridiculously large. Almost 6m distance from the seating position to the TV? How big is the TV supposed to be? 3m diagonal?

okay, I will think over your answers! The size of the living room, for example, is a point that also gives me something to think about. Thanks for now!
