Hello everyone,

we have been planning to build a single-family house for a long time and have now ended up with the attached plan.

What do you think about it?

What was important to us:
- 2 full floors
- Passage from garage to house
- Dining area and kitchen together
- Living area separable by sliding door.

We are happy to receive suggestions for improvements or practical tips!!

Thank you very much for your feedback!

One more piece of information:

We are still not completely happy with how the [Kamin] is running.
Maybe someone has an idea how it could run better.

Thanks and regards

Unfortunately, it is hardly possible to decipher any measurements. Am I correct in seeing that the main body is 9 x 11 m²

Best regards

Yes, is the image also available in large? I already see problems with the stairs...

@ huettenwirt: You have been registered here since today, which is a pity, as every previous draft discussion is helpful for assessing one's own draft. The draft is already heading for the bin because of the staircase, so only about that: You value the access from the garage to the house, you probably use it daily. If, as drawn, someone comes from the garage into the house, they will want to take off shoes and clothes somewhere. That means the entire area from the too dark hallway to the too small cloakroom becomes a dirty area. Anyone who wants to go to the upper floor has to walk through there and collects everything from dog feces to gravel. Also, every time you go from the ground floor to a toilet (whether on the ground floor or upper floor), you walk through there. Even when doing laundry... lovely. Otherwise, please read a lot about the [Fresswarze], balcony, width and position of a dressing room, routing of pipes, etc. By the way, the off-center placement of the window above the entrance to the roof is a highlight. A site plan is also required to evaluate a draft. Regards WD

Hello, thank you already for your support. The planning is not yet finished, so there is still plenty of time to reconsider everything. The window position above the front door is not suitable. We have already noticed that as well. It is important for us to rethink the room layout, especially the position of the staircase. We are still not completely happy with it and are looking forward to your input!! Here maybe the pictures a bit larger: Ground floor Upper floor Basement
