We thought more that we would put a small coat rack just for us in the utility room. (So just like 2 hooks + a small shoe cabinet) And in the hallway it would be for guests or jackets that are not used that often. Children are planned and will also grow up so that they can use the bathroom alone Then a sink is sufficient until then. As I said, we thought that we would take off and leave our shoes in the utility room. We don't want an en suite bathroom and a dressing room is something we wanted to treat ourselves to. If it doesn't fit, sure, then it will be taken out but it actually fit quite well like that. For only technology and storage space, the utility room should be enough, right? We find it OK that the dirty laundry is stored in the bathroom, we don't do it differently now. Yes, the living/dining room is small, we also don't think that's right yet. So you mean like , that the wall at the dining table to the hallway can be taken down?

No.

With these 2 doors, it is probably barely enough for the technology alone...

Then I’ll also join in on that point. Small house means – you have to use every centimeter. The utility room will already be too small. Two entrances is a luxury that not even bigger houses can afford. Besides, it’s absolute nonsense. If you always enter at B, then A can be omitted because it’s pointless. Why carry shoes and jackets constantly from A to B and back?

If you absolutely want to go through the garage to stay dry, put the entrance over there. Something like this works, for example, (regardless of the rest of the planning):

Technology – that will already be difficult – what do you actually need for heating, water heater, electrical, controlled residential ventilation, smart home, water supply, etc.? Storage space – never.

I thought you wanted to improve yourselves...

Not enough. Which air-to-water heat pump are you using? Check the technical data to see how much space it needs. Hot water, controlled residential ventilation. We have about 2 sqm for controlled residential ventilation, heat pump, hot water. The control cabinet is about 1.4 x 1.7 m in size. House connections for water and electricity are on the wall opposite the control cabinet. No KNX and no other smart home. LAN runs over the plaster middle cabinet. Why don’t you plan with one entrance? You have no floor space. Additional way to the kitchen plus one more door. I would remove the cramped dining corner in the kitchen. Nobody squeezes in there anyway. Kids’ bathroom is for big houses – small guest WC. Dining area in kitchen gone. Dressing room gone. Second entrance gone. And there is air.

Thanks to everyone! There are a few things to consider. I know about the second entrance from my sister and find it very practical. They just have a much bigger house and therefore also a larger utility room. We have seen floor plans with smaller utility rooms and thought we would be quite okay with that. The dining area in the kitchen was just an idea, otherwise it would just be additional storage space for shelves, etc. I want to dwell a little longer on the dressing room until it is no longer possible. We will definitely have to discuss the utility room again.
