Grown through the valley view! Valley view has priority for the living rooms, and I also find the entrance where the living rooms/kitchen are to be sensible.

Yes, the entrance there is sensibly correct. BUT they have to go around the house once from outside when they get out of the car and go up the stairs. Honestly, I don’t find that so great, especially in the rain. We enter the house directly next to the garage on the ground level. That was the most sensible for us during the planning back then. And even now, in practice after almost two months, I am convinced of it.

oh yes and because the wardrobe and co. are in the basement, you gain space again on the ground floor! That was also a pro argument for us back then.

No, the door from the garage to the inside is planned. At least I have that in mind, having read it that way.

Yes, but for me that's more like the side entrance or the "dirty" entrance. But if, for example, visitors come and park in front of the house and it's raining, then they also have to dash up the stairs through the rain... Oh, I don't know, it's really a matter of perspective... The multiple workstation on the ground floor was also decisive for us.

I would design the ground floor somehow like this. Just a quick sketch... Maybe put the stairs in front of the pantry, place the WC more centrally?! Definitely try to plan a small room for a child on the ground floor. If space is tight, maybe skip the pantry and separate it later with a drywall partition or something similar. In the basement, access from the garage to the wardrobe, stroller parking, etc. Just as an alternative room layout - without any guarantee that the space will be sufficient
