Thank you for your comments. I have commented on each point as we see it and changed the floor plan accordingly.
Heaven no, why on earth?
I will take a close look at the load-bearing walls.
What exactly do you want to take a closer look at? And after you fiddled further with the stillborn project, what is the result of the inspection?
I clarified the staircase with the stair builder. That fits very well.
Yes, very wonderful. What was the story height, tread depth, riser height again?
Honestly, it does not bother me at all that the kitchen is far from the terrace. Also, the passage through the living room is okay as far as I see it.
Yes, sure. Everything is great.
Guest WC / kitchen: The guest WC has to go somewhere.
Mmh, yes. Everything has to go somewhere, true. That’s why architecture studies have restricted access.
And that it is directly next to the kitchen, we really don’t find it bad.
Well, if that’s the case, you could also place the pit right under the living room and just hack a hole in the floor. The aroma after using the toilet is a good distraction if the roast burns in the kitchen. Doesn’t bother you now either.
Mini bathrooms: We consider the space in the rooms more important than in the bathroom. The bathrooms have become a bit bigger due to the reorganization.
Spectacular. The bathrooms are all a nightmare. In the children’s bathroom, the door has to open outward due to tightness in a house with about 200 sqm. But that doesn’t really matter.
The north orientation of the children’s rooms will remain as is.
I haven’t read any justification for that yet, but it doesn’t really matter anyway.
The kitchen will be a bit narrower due to the conversion in the upper floor. But I wouldn’t have found that so dramatic. We use the kitchen a lot and need the space.
The criticism was not "kitchen too big" but "ergonomically questionable."
Laundry chute: There isn’t one, it was just a consideration of where to run pipes up.
Yes, the living room is ideal for that. And without a laundry chute at least the cleaning lady is worthwhile.
Are there any further points of criticism?
You mean you want to read even more points which you then ignore? Why bother? Or do you want to take the sketch and check with the architect if he finds all the mistakes too – sort of a quality test? Okay, then I have this one more:
[*] open staircase / hallway to the upper floor with 3 children – the house will be very loud because of that. [*] slanting wall in the basement [*] how steep is the slope now? Contour lines are nice, but without measurements they are of little value.
