Boundary construction with the garage is possible, however, we would like to keep a 1m distance for maintenance. The distance of the garage to the street is 5m for perpendicular driveways and 1.5m for parallel arrangement. That was also our first idea with the garage in front, but with that we block the access behind the house and take up a lot of space in front of the house, for example with a parallel paved driveway.



What could an alternative to the bathrooms look like? Just an adjustment on the ground floor to make the living room bigger?



We are assuming 2 children.

Then you also have a 30-meter long and 3-meter wide paved area as a garage driveway on the property. Virtually a street.

Unfortunately, that is the downside of this design. We also want to try not to seal the driveway, so we plan to use something like eco-paving. Only if the garage is placed in front of the house do we have less sunlight in the house and have poor access to the back of the house. Due to the narrow layout, the garage in front of the house, in our opinion, restricts too much.

Why don’t you attach the garage to the house? You could then also install a door directly from the garage into the utility room.

Then we wouldn't be able to get behind the house again if the garage is at the back of the house :-). I think it will also be too tight for driving in. We will ask in the appointment with the architect which minimum turning radii apply for the car.

Why don't you go around to the back of the house? What about the south-east side?
