So, me again. Those who can read have an advantage. Obviously, this is not from the architect; it was the template we gave him. He will be finished with everything next week. This drawing cost me half an hour back then. He should do everything else; my time is too valuable for that. Actually, I wanted something constructive for the rough draft, but it's true, I'm too self-confident and know what I want to let anyone tell me how things were built 50 years ago and are still sometimes done today. By the way, take a look at the Griffner model house in Mannheim; it's very similar. The architect is no nobody, on the contrary. But I’m not supposed to pass on his drawings. No offense. By the way, I looked at ypg’s house (I think, I’m in the car) on the homepage. Looks good. Congratulations. I also looked at Bauexperte’s homepage. Gulp, no words. So, that’s it for the conclusion. Now you can think whatever you want, and from now on I’ll spend my time usefully again so I can afford a few more of those quirky houses.
Take Yvonne’s comment regarding the toilet into account. Without a window to the outside and with a niche behind it, it’s not practical. Better to put the toilet on the outer wall, add a window, and get rid of the niche. Personally, I would also access the toilet from the hallway, but that’s a matter of taste.
It’s a pity it has gotten so emotional.
How about your open space plan? Like the house and garages on the property? Maybe the entrance would be better in the southeast after all? Are you final on that?
