With a 500 sqm plot and a bungalow, I would be concerned about the neighboring buildings, not that walls of city villas 6m high and 3m from the boundary are built on 3 sides, and suddenly it is dark inside the house

If it gets dark inside a bungalow - which it is not supposed to be anyway - then it is at least just as dark on the ground floor in a two-family house - only you cannot have skylights there. Am I making a mistake in my thinking?

I have also said it before: if you build a house with a 3-meter boundary distance and then get a hedge so that you don't have to look at the neighbor's fleet/garage, then the windows are practically overgrown. With a smaller house footprint, you increase the distance to the property boundary and also get light through open space into the window.
