Good morning everyone,
Below you can see our floor plan. The house is designed for 3 people, without a basement. The entrance is currently located in the east (3.45m to the neighbor's boundary). However, we are considering moving the entrance to the south (we know this should be avoided), but the driveway is, after all, coming from the south. (The idea to possibly place the utility room under the stairs and keep the office a bit smaller to create a cloakroom seems sensible to us. We are also uncertain whether to position the garage (single garage with carport) directly next to the house (if the front door remains in the east) or in front of the house (if the front door is in the south). Many thanks for your opinions (also regarding the window design)

And when you fill out the questionnaire, please also rotate the drawings so that south is at the bottom and preferably insert a north arrow. In general, I can say right away that a technical room in the south is very unusual. What is the reason that you have the technical room in the south and the living room in the north instead of the other way around? What wall thickness are you working with? For example, the shower upstairs is only about 80 cm wide with a 40 cm wall. For whom is the second children's room upstairs planned? Do you need 2 offices? Questions like "whether to add a garage or not" can only be answered if you have a plan of the property. We also have the access from the southeast and will definitely not be adding on. The driveway simply becomes too large for us.

Do not understand the south arrow in connection with the floor plan. Are the children's rooms in the north? Then swap with the bathroom and bedroom.

At first glance, I find the technical room cozy and small.

Otherwise, it is always very helpful if you draw in your desired furniture in original size.

Yes, technology is not enough when I see what I have here. I have an anteroom of about 4 sqm, where the washing machine is located, and then a passage to the utility room of about 6 sqm and there isn't much space left there either. So both "parts" together are a little more than 10 m2, I see it as one utility room, but on 5 sqm... never....

Bathroom on the opposite side of the guest WC... I think that's rather unusual because of the pipes from top to bottom. So it is best if everything that has to go down is aligned vertically.

Otherwise, your ground floor plan looks very much like mine...
