Floor plan for our single-family house (1 child), we want your opinions on it

I do not interpret the south indication as an arrow, but that south is supposed to be to the right on the plan. I would reflect / swap as follows: bathroom / bedroom and living / kitchen, then the bathroom would be above the kitchen and the bedroom would get morning sun.

However, with the consideration of moving the entrance to the south [...] perhaps placing the utility room under the stairs and keeping the office a bit smaller in order to create a wardrobe

... then we would be dealing with a completely different floor plan, and the question of why this one is being discussed at all.
