This only means that a maximum building height of 8 meters must be observed.

[*]The staircase looks relatively narrow --> I will take a closer look at it / examine the width more closely.

[*]Kitchen ... I'll try to furnish it, e.g. tall cabinets for oven and refrigerator. Question here, does there have to be a pantry? You have a basement. --> Pantry will be removed from the plan, we already thought about that.

[*]Why a storage room on the ground floor? Storage room is basically a multifunctional room - probably partly used as a pantry or as storage for e.g.: vacuum cleaner or also storage for canned goods.

[*]Carport directly in front of the front door looks quite tight. Why not place the carport closer to the street? Then you don't need such a long driveway (paving, snow shoveling, etc.). --> Carport near the street takes light away from the kitchen in the late afternoon/evening ..

[*]Equipment room behind the carport should maybe be more sensibly accessible from the garden side. But there would probably be a slope first - right? What kind of equipment have you thought of? What about bicycles? --> Equipment room is mainly intended as storage for bicycles, but certainly also for snow shovels, or car tires or similar items.

[*]Upper floor - I don’t find the bedroom layout quite successful yet, children’s rooms are okay. --> do you have another idea regarding the bedroom arrangement? We would rather not make the ground floor smaller and making the upper floor larger is associated with additional costs ..

Best regards
Christian

The pantry could be omitted and a sliding door between the kitchen and entrance could be installed ..

I find the upper floor okay, if you like it that way.

Without dimensions, it is difficult to make suggestions for changes. Maybe also sometimes with exact direction arrows or is north really to the right of the plan?

Move the carport rather a lot to the left of the plan towards the south. Because especially the summer afternoon sun and evening sun hardly get into the house that way, and you can't really use them, since you probably don't want to sit on your driveway. The tool shed could stay where it is now, then it is also more usable if there are no cars parked in front of the door. And, between the carport and the "shed," you could have a kind of courtyard with evening west sun. Although the shed currently looks like a bicycle could only stand lengthwise.

I think this is not yet optimal.

And the roof view would also interest me.
