I like the floor plan. However, if you need to save space for cost reasons, you could consider the entrance bay with guest bathroom. Straighten it and move the bathroom further forward; the hallway is large enough and the current recess is pretty but questionable from a cost/benefit perspective. Then you could certainly save space in the depth of the house without having to change the layout. If the kitchen cabinets are drawn here with 60cm, you have 4.20m kitchen width. I would still find 3.60m comfortable, and the utility room can tolerate one cabinet width less without it being noticeable. In the upper floor, you could save space in the depth of the bathroom, which could alternatively also get a bit of the now very large gallery. What would bother me here is the shower at the head of the bed.

I'll put it this way: the question "can it be a little more?" belongs at the sausage counter, an architect (even if employed by a "general contractor") should be able to adhere to a floor area budget reasonably well. If I build 20 sqm more than I wanted, then at 2,000 euros per sqm I have practically paid 40,000 euros "for the architect" - then the self-paid architect (without quotation marks) is even cheaper.
