1. Sofa does not have a view, but it does get the southern sun. 2. Wardrobe nowhere really planned, instead a muscle corner in the main hallway. 3. Sleeping area a bit uncomfortable for the one who sleeps in front, dressing room quite tight. 4. Terrace turns its back to the sun... might feel a bit clammy. 5. So: 2 HO rooms in the basement with southern orientation. 6. Ground floor: spacious living room, with living room in the north with a view. Dining/kitchen in the south
1. We also noticed that. We would have liked to swap living room and kitchen so that the kitchen gets sun and the living room is rather dark. It was planned that way so that the living room is somewhat separated. Do you have an idea how to swap them and still keep them separated?
2. Wardrobe is a good point, we hadn’t thought of that yet, thanks!
3. We would turn the bed in the bedroom (90° counterclockwise) so it is cozy for both. However, we would have liked to swap bedroom and office behind the bathroom, but unfortunately no bed fits sensibly into that room.
4. Do you mean because of the small wall? The architect built it to shield from the street. We thought it was good because up there there will probably be a strong draft (wind). However, we also have concerns whether there will be too little sun on the terrace, especially if the roof is made bigger.
5. We would rather not have offices in the basement, we are there all day and then would basically sit in the cellar...
6. We would like the living room in the north, but we also want spatial separation from the kitchen/dining area.
