Many questioners here need planning assistance not only at the point where they have already noticed their need for help themselves; and bathrooms are not sensible clusters to be considered in isolation anyway, especially because of the drainpipes. It is therefore always a good idea to show the whole house for an overview, even if one only sees their need for planning assistance in a specific spot.

Unfortunately, a roof window is no longer possible. The house is already built. But thanks for the suggestion :-)

We actually have exactly that option to choose from. However, we do not want a glass shower, but rather built walls. Then there was the consideration of whether the wall would be bothersome when you enter directly.

I thought it was only the shell. Is the roof already on? Such a window can be cut quickly... :D

I wouldn’t find that so bad. For example, you can put up nice wooden shelves, then it looks quite inviting. I find the size more problematic. 1.20m as with is not enough to manage without a door. But it would be an advantage for the room if the shower isn’t so dominant. Due to the slants, the room quickly feels quite full.

Yes, the roof is already on. The shower would have to be 1.40m to get by without a screen. Then it would already be quite a block. Somehow we just can't find the optimal solution.

Why didn't you say at the beginning that it shouldn't be a glass shower.

The wall is no more in the way than the glass panel. The wall just doesn't let any light through and just looks like a foreign object.
