Well, the solution should also have been fully planned before the start of the construction. I find your options quite okay given this omission. There have been much worse disasters.

We are building a turnkey modular house at a fixed price. So we couldn't change anything about the rooms anymore. Therefore, we had to live with the layout of the bathroom. I don't find the suggestions that dramatic so far either. It's just never 100% perfect. Either the position of the shower bothers me or that of the toilet. But you probably have to make compromises somewhere. It could also simply have been that someone spontaneously comes up with the perfect solution that we haven't even considered yet.

Would you like to name the provider and model? I am surprised that at this stage it is still debatable where which sanitary fixtures are going.

We are building with a small local company. Ernst W. in Rechtenbach - model House Buseck. The architect has planned some downpipes in the bathroom so that we can still be quite flexible. In the end, however, we still need to have the plan approved by her.

Thanks for the information. The company makes a recommendable impression on me.

Especially when it comes to questioners with houses already under advanced construction, it is always helpful for the discussions to mark such points (downpipes or floor openings).

Here the three downpipes are marked. Two are at the top and one at the bottom right corner. Yes, the company is very recommendable so far. Very transparent and the site manager is very conscientious. Only with regard to the architect, one could have expected a bit more concerning the room layout.
