"Well, you can be as old as a cow, you still learn something new" Or maybe it’s time for a new kitchen again.... *laugh*

The attachments are made of stainless steel and are more or less an alternative to the real Teppanyaki cooktops, which quickly reach four-digit prices...
Could be worth a test for us.

So I wished for a Neff cooktop with surface induction (something like: Neff TT5355N)! That means I also only have two large, rectangular areas on the right and left, which can be divided into 4 different cooking zones in total. This way I can also put 3 or 4 smaller pots on one side.

And I plan to buy an extra grill plate for induction later. (e.g. AEG MaxiSense Plancha) Then I can also use my induction stove as a grill.

ah, cool. I didn’t know that yet, but basically it is similar to a Teppanyaki attachment, only focused on grilling. Sounds worthwhile. But you don’t have any experience with the rectangular cooktops yet, your kitchen is still being built?

When installing the cooktop, make sure you don't have an edge that curves upwards. I didn't pay attention to that. And sometimes it would be practical if the larger pan also has space at the edge. We don't have the [Flexzonen], but we wouldn't hesitate to turn on two burners for a roaster.

So you can’t just quickly pull a boiling-over pot off the cooktop to interrupt the cooking process as quickly as possible.

In the end, it’s always a question of price. The vario zones are generally significantly more expensive than the normal induction zones.
By the way, in every negotiation round we were offered a better (normal) induction cooktop - until it eventually fit. OK - we played two suppliers off each other a little. However - anyone who initially calls out a price and then immediately lowers it by 40% as a super-great offer deserves to be a little punished in my opinion. I found that highly unprofessional.

Exactly, we are still in the process of building the house. I will only be able to share experiences next year.
