Carpenters from Poland/Czech Republic, which is not too far from you, would also be an option...

No, I'm still grateful to you because I just went there again, and the advantage is that I can get it fitted down to the millimeter. Especially the overlap on top up to a maximum of 5cm makes sense for us. It's good that you get a nudge every now and then; sometimes you just have too many thoughts going around in your head. Thanks again, so this solution is definitely secured... let's see what else comes... Do you have experience with them regarding quality, etc.?

Can you post a photo? So one can mentally tinker a bit?

What does she have against it?

Storage space for various (what feels like 1000 to me) small pieces. I could store my single horsehair toothbrush more easily. I could also imagine a shallow shelf behind me on my back but...... I'll put it this way, if it works out, why not. I also enjoy the searching (having it looked for o_O ). The huge silver mirror from Ikea fits exactly in "my" bathroom downstairs, I took it with me, I really like it. By the way , on the 14th the window drama is supposed to be resolved by crane and other technical stuff . After that, we might come back to your idea with the colored vases; we quite like the direction of the idea.

If you are handy, the construction instructions for [drempelschränke] should work. Otherwise, probably only providers like my furniture workshop or carpenters remain.

No, I don't know them. I just saw it by chance. I personally have an aversion to mirrored cabinets above the washbasin; I'm always afraid that something might fall out onto the washbasin, and the constant opening/closing of the door to take something out or to look at yourself annoys me, for example, in hotels. With us, there are only beautiful mirrors and half-height cabinets on the right and left.
