No. On the contrary. I kept the fixture as straight as possible so that nothing would jam. I still don’t understand what you see there? Which picture are you referring to? Which borehole do you mean? The one in the washbasin? Of course it’s continuous—if you mean "from top to bottom." How else could I have threaded the flexible hoses when I took the first 3 photos? ;) At first, I only tightened the nut by hand because I remembered that the half-moon washer starts to bend if you keep tightening it. I had that experience some time ago with another fixture (sink). To avoid bending the washer in this case as well, but still see if everything fits, I only tightened it by hand. Since the fixture was already leaning forward, I concluded that if I tightened it fully, I would only bend the half-moon washer, but the fixture would never sit flat because the gasket would seem too thick. Are you saying I should try tightening really hard?

Hello, I looked through my documents, unfortunately I can't find anything suitable now. Also didn't find an assembly manual. I can't shake the feeling that I missed something. So you screwed on the hoses, screwed in the threaded rod (if not pre-assembled). Then placed the fitting into the designated hole and from underneath in the following order 1. pushed on the mounting plate (5.3) 2. placed the half-moon plate (5.5) on it and 3.) fixed everything with the nut (5.6). Right? If none of that works and you have an assembly manual, then please upload it here as a PDF. It can't be that it just won't work. ;) Edit: Don't tighten it with force, it should hold well if screwed in by hand. Regards Sigi

Moin Moin

at handfest it will not be flush either.
Tighten the nut "normalfest" and then it will fit.

But remember, after tight comes loose. :) ;)

I need to ask something that might be off-topic:

In the attached installation manual it says

Now, I am not an installer, and my wife and I are considering whether to delegate the entire issue to one. The preservation of the warranty speaks in favor of this. Against it is the question of what warranty claims might arise within 2 years on a premium fitting.

I had considered posting this question as a separate topic, as it will surely be of interest to others in the future. If this is desired, please say so. Then I will start a new topic and a mod can please delete this posting.

Same here. That's usually the problem when something is just too simple. o_O
No. I wanted to mount the faucet on the washbasin first, so I don't have to crawl into the cabinet underneath once it's hanging on the wall. It's easier to just put the table on and then connect the hoses.
No, it is pre-assembled.
No, it is pre-assembled.
Exactly, only these two parts, since only these belong to the mounting kit and were included.
Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner and can only offer pictures of it.
