We are currently building with Town & Country and already received a calculation at the first meeting back then. It was only minimally adjusted here and there later on, and otherwise left as is, and so far everything works out. However, I believe the costs were estimated higher than yours. I can gladly check tonight. But I am at least sure that 2000 or 2500 was assumed for the construction electricity. And of course also a sampling buffer. Regarding the samplings, I have to say that we were positively surprised by many additional charges and in some areas didn't sample at all. So if you don't have any special requests, 10k should easily be enough. At least it was enough for us despite spending 4000€ just on the roof tiles.

You give me hope. Just because you want to build down-to-earth and reasonably doesn’t mean it has to be a run-of-the-mill house. Even a smaller house can be beautiful. It would be very kind if you could look up your breakdown tonight. I think that really too little has been estimated here and there. A bit of a buffer for unforeseen events, which occur in every house build, is preferable to us.

99% want to build down-to-earth here.
Maybe you could just show us the house you chose at Town & Country? So far, the specified size doesn’t match the wishes. Perhaps you just made a typo there?

yes, but at the beginning you brought an architect into the game... and that definitely costs more

We have often painted and wallpapered before and have experience with that. We have also laid laminate ourselves. Of course, we will not build the garage ourselves; we will have it built later!

The costs are realistic. What will be added: T and C's standard tile and standard bathroom will not please you, you will spend another thousand to two thousand extra on that, and there will also be a few sockets and such for 1000,-. Possibly a SAT system. The kitchen will even be cheaper. Forget the architect, do it with T and C. The architect will be more expensive and in the end won't get any companies, because many companies nowadays don't want to work with them anymore, out of revenge, because they used to be so miserable and they cluttered them with paper and annoyed them with 1000 construction meetings. K.
