Sometimes I wonder how the four of us don’t have a space problem in 100m2, when here 120m2 for five people seems almost impossible^^.

For a new build without a basement and 3 children (is a third definitely coming or just maybe?), I would also build a bit bigger, but 140m2 is more than enough. You don’t have everything on the living area inside the house; some things are in the attic, the shed, or even the garage. And no one has ever died from having the washing machine in the kitchen.
And the construction has to be paid for; especially with 2-3 children every euro is needed. And after that, it has to be maintained, heated, and cleaned.

I think you have rather simple demands and for that a standard house is definitely sufficient.

Yes, we will also have an offer made for more square meters. We already have an appointment to view the Lichthaus 121 to get an impression of the size. I just wanted to know first whether the costs set for the size are realistic or if this is just a lure. Whether Town & Country is trustworthy.

Thank you very much we now live as four in an 82 m2 apartment and also have no space problem the washing machine is not in the kitchen either and my children each have a beautiful children's room. But we also have a second property with a lot of storage space for things that are not used often.

Here again are the TE's simple demands.
Yes, almost everyone here builds in a down-to-earth manner, but down-to-earth and quality is not simply cheap.

Although a standard house might be enough, the equipment cannot be disregarded, as shown here, e.g. safety. And this doesn’t even yet concern the heating technology or other frills that others would prefer over the colored windows. So if you deal with the topic somewhat, more things add up. And except for , our penny-pincher, no one here has spoken about the electrical or sanitary installations.

100m² on one level, I assume? Yes, many like to compare apples and oranges. Where in your apartment is the stairwell and the utility room? What about the basement? And so far, there has been no mention in the calculation of let alone So far, I actually see less of a financing problem, and much more a lack of sense for space and area requirements for 5 little people. Therefore, be sure to visit show homes.
