Thanks In my property, I want to live myself, but for the next 25 years it basically belongs to the bank first, and they also want their securities. And yes, no one knows what the future holds, but I do want a certain "security" regarding the house value, in case I might want/need to part with the house one day. I can also contribute a firsthand report on the topic from my circle of friends: Friends of ours, with two small children, also lived in a mixed-use area. Surrounded by a few residential houses and various businesses (including a freight forwarding company). Overall, it was rather quiet. The infrastructure there was also very good (supermarket, daycare, school). Nevertheless, they felt uncomfortable and like being on an "island." And that’s how I always felt whenever we visited. The atmosphere just wasn’t very cozy and inviting. That’s why they moved away as soon as possible. Of course, everyone has to decide for themselves and set their own priorities. I’d rather live in a mid-terrace house with a towel-sized garden in a purely residential area (for this, I’ll probably be virtually stoned now) than on 2000m² with a large villa between a beverage wholesale and a freight forwarding company. But everyone is different :)
