Hello,

I would like to have a future-proof and flexible new connection and was wondering if it is possible to apply for the Telekom standard connection but prepare an empty conduit for fiber optic and/or cable television for later (unfortunately, neither cable nor fiber is available in our area). Has anyone implemented something similar? And what exactly is needed for that? Is a special multi-utility connection required?

Thank you very much!

Multi-utility entry refers to a combined entry of electricity / gas / water / telephone from the street into the house, in order to have these connections pass through the house wall in a coordinated manner.

This has nothing to do with different types of cables for telephone or with triple play. Telephone connections and cable TV from the same or different providers via copper and fiber optic cables are located in the same channel of the conduit.

It is best to lay an empty conduit, e.g. PE pipe d63, from the street into the house at the same time as installing gas, water, electricity, and telecom connections. Later, only a small access hole at the street will be needed.

Exactly this happens with the introduction of multiple sectors, whose channels are basically empty conduits until connections are laid into them.

But not all the way to the street. Multi-utility introduction is only to get under the floor slab into the house.

Has anyone of you had a "Leerrohr" installed from the utility room to the garden? I still don’t know exactly how many cables I will need and don’t want to have to drill through my sheath later. Or how did you solve this?
