Statistically, 30 million people in Germany go to the sauna more or less regularly. I therefore find it unproblematic. For me personally, going to the sauna is a good reason to get together with friends or family and spend a nice time, which is why I am reluctant to give up a larger bath. Basements in the area are difficult due to high water levels and would involve additional costs.

Let's summarize the puzzle here: we have a master bedroom and two children's rooms. So, a house for 4 people? Classic variant: 2 adults, 2 children. We have a fairly spacious bathroom, which can only be accessed from the bedroom. Therefore, a second bathroom is needed. For the children. It should be large enough to also accommodate 2 loungers, since a sauna is to be installed in the house as well. So take the remaining space from the upper floor as this sauna bathroom, so that two, mind you 2 loungers (pasted to the walls in the drawing) can fit there. Storage of folding loungers. Not dumb. The loungers are thus stuck to the wall because otherwise they would be in the way - at least with this L-construct with a placeholder shower in the niche. To add one more variable to the puzzle, a 6-person sauna is to be installed, there is space for it (because the garage was cleverly placed on the ground floor). The question would be, a) where do the children go to the bathroom during the parents' sauna time? B) if the children sauna with them, where are they allowed to lounge afterwards? C) who gets the remaining seats in the sauna? Visitors? If visitors are there, the question remains: with or without children... and if without, which toilet may they use during the parents' relaxation phase with visitors, and which toilet does the visitor use? Doesn't the visitor find it strange to walk through the whole house to use the children's toilet? But I find the most interesting: who cleans the children's bathroom before the parents' time? And who may use the bathtub in the parents' bathroom when? It would actually be smart if the children bathe in the parents' bathroom while the parents sauna in the children's bathroom. [emoji38][emoji23][emoji6] I also think a sauna is fine, whether in a small bungalow or elsewhere. If that's your hobby, go for it. But then it should also be sensibly placed and not in a leftover room that has the coziness of a slaughterhouse, at least size-wise. I don't want to be moving chairs around there either.

a) the children sauna along. B) at the bottom right there would be a bench (2nd draft). During sauna evenings, two loungers would be placed in the bathroom. C) if you want to lie down in a sauna, it must have a certain size. If the children do not sauna along when visiting, there is a WC on the ground floor. Usually, one takes care of their toilet visit before saunating. "Doesn't the visitor find it strange to wander through the whole house to use the children's toilet?" Can't quite follow you. I find the large bathroom in the 2nd version quite acceptable. You have a very interesting tone. =)

Sauna in the main bathroom ok Family bath and wellness temple very unusual for the size of the house. No storage space for tools, garden furniture, decorations, suitcases, supplies EG Garage too small Kitchen I find ergonomically poor in variant 2. Staircase in variant 1 in the dirty area OG Variant 2 Children's rooms not the same size or are they children’s rooms and guest rooms? I find the closet space in the bedroom too small No storage space Why not a large bathroom with sauna?

Is that so? I usually adapt a bit to the thread or the OP so that they can follow me – that might be the reason [emoji6]
