Extension on an old building from 1965 with an additional storey

I do not find the floor plan with the extension bad at all. One can like the separate staircase. When the children are older/adults, they have their own areas that can be reached without signing in or out with the parents. If the area is rentable, apartments can be separated off or the parents can be lodged as desired here.

Those who have many children and want to do home office will appreciate such a floor plan. For DINKS couples who want open large rooms, the house is of course not suitable.

The extension with the passage room is a completely different league in terms of price-performance. I would leave that.

Twenty years younger, when Schmalhans was no longer the master builder, I would also judge that decidedly less critically.
