A house construction provider offers in the construction service description "shower tray element with acrylic surface Multistar Finish from Fa. Schedel". What experiences are there with such a construction method? To me, it sounds like as cheap as possible. It also seems to be about making the shower as flat as possible... The discussion about acrylic or steel enamel was already addressed here: . But this seems to be something different...

Ask your GU or plumbing person.

No practical experience, but we also chose an acrylic tub for the shower. The additional cost was negligible, and we liked the slightly matte appearance, it is warm to the touch and according to the advice not so slippery either.

Acrylic bathtub in use for over 20 years. So far no problems, no visible scratches/cracks. Abrasive cleaner (ATA) for cleaning is of course taboo! I would decide the same way again.

That would be the only disadvantage. You can probably live with that ;) Acrylic doesn't keep warm for long, doesn't retain heat - but that's a negligible issue when showering, so not an issue at all.

We have an acrylic bathtub, I regularly get color stains (e.g. when something colored and hard falls in) that are difficult to remove. Our acrylic shower tray always moved a lot when standing on it. Then the joints came loose (see picture), water got under the tray, mold on another wall, and the general contractor had to invest quite a bit for a renovation (now: tiles, see photo). The landlord got off with organizational hassle (however: threat of lawyer against the general contractor). For us as tenants, of course, a lot of trouble, several days with a drying device included :).
