The task is thankless. But if you ask all companies of this trade in the immediate vicinity, sometimes a little crumb falls off.
Good luck!

Thank you! The idea is not bad at all; I hadn’t tried the classic calling around of companies nearby yet. I think with the construction topic, I have to let go of my usual "everything via internet/email" habit. Many craftsmen are probably not digital natives in the true sense.
I can only recommend going around when working with topics like craft searches, building a house, etc. Suddenly you have a common topic with colleagues with whom you normally only greet politely and have no other topics. Especially with older colleagues. You will get recommendations there. And if you call the craftsman and say who recommended you, they will come right away.
Or just ask a skilled colleague who might help out friendly for a little "gas money", e.g., 100€.
Good idea! I’m currently on parental leave but can maybe listen around in work chat rooms. Unfortunately, almost all colleagues stayed in the city (who built 3-4 years ago). Now it’s so expensive that we’re moving out a bit. But I don’t know if the craftsmen from the city want to drive so far for such small jobs. Asking around doesn’t hurt though. One of my husband’s colleagues used to live in our future place of residence; he can be a good person to approach.
I would also try to entrust this "small thing" to a craftsman who is already on site.
That would be ideal. We are doing all the washbasins ourselves. But for the sanitary connections, we need someone from the trade in the house anyway, right? If I had the washbasins "ready" when they are there, maybe someone from them could do it right away. That’s how some friends of ours did it, too.
