Hello everyone,
we caught an electrician who later turned out to be a beginner. After 6 months the installation was by far not finished, we gave him a deadline of two months. He refused it, terminated without notice, and cut off contact. The case is with the lawyer. Although he sees us as being right, that doesn’t help us in the short term.
Because we cannot wait for years of legal dispute and need to move in, a friendly, experienced electrician is helping us, who however doesn’t have a master craftsman certificate. He organized a known master who finished the meter cabinet and would register the meter. However, he only issues the invoice and acceptance up to the meter because he does not want to assume liability for work done by others. He does not connect the supply lines to the floors.
Now we come to the problem. The insurance wants an “acceptance.” We simply no longer have that for the entire system. We asked another electrical company, but they also did not want to complete/accept the installation.
Now we are facing the absurd situation where we have a flawless, almost finished system that nobody wants to accept, which is why we cannot move in.
It is not even about saving money. We understand that the next company should test and check everything and that costs money. We have heard of E-checks. It must somehow be possible to finish the electrical work and have someone sign off under it that the electrical system in the house is flawless. We don’t want anything illegal. Everything must be done properly and 100% correctly. Unfortunately, we are now stuck in this strange situation that we did not cause.
We would be grateful for tips
