* Nightstand lamp with touch-sensitive housing (3-level dimmable) stands on a raised nightstand which has "two" levels. If you have a higher bed (box spring bed), then the nightstand also has to be higher. This way you have space on top for a nightstand lamp and you can put the children's books below for reading aloud, etc.
* I consider a USB socket practical but dispensable. It also costs quite a bit more.
* Sockets in the corner are practical – even if a piece of furniture stands in front of them! Furniture backs can also be cut out and then you have the possibility to connect an electrical device hidden.
You can do it that way, but in my opinion, more practical and nicer (matter of opinion) is still either a wall lamp or pendant light(s).
One USB socket next to the bed costs 80-90 euros more if you take Jung, Mertens, etc. NoName is even much cheaper.
For that, you only get one socket and not three. Unless you find the sockets nice.
Apart from the additional costs, to plaster every corner with double sockets that you might possibly need someday is not the point either.
