You can do it that way, but in my opinion, more practical and nicer (matter of opinion) is still either a wall lamp or pendant light(s).

One USB socket next to the bed costs 80-90 euros more if you take Jung, Mertens, etc. NoName is even much cheaper.
For that, you only get one socket and not three. Unless you find the sockets nice.

Apart from the additional costs, to plaster every corner with double sockets that you might possibly need someday is not the point either.

I can understand the approach of keeping it as clean as possible, but a USB socket is not coming into my house. It’s already outdated before it’s even installed.

If you cook a lot and need a bigger kitchen, you could swap the TV corner and the kitchen. Keep that in mind when doing the electrical planning!

The purpose of USB sockets is still unclear to me outside of airplanes…

I think that one or at most two LAN sockets per floor are sufficient to guarantee a stable Wi-Fi. Looking at my devices (e.g., TV or laptop, which I connect at home as a workstation to a large screen), they all either run via Wi-Fi or sometimes do not have a LAN port at all…

You don't need a bulky power adapter on the wall, and in tight spaces, you can also plug a USB right-angle connector directly into the wall (behind a cabinet, couch, nightstand, etc.).

We have already discussed this topic here several times. Those who are undemanding will probably get by with one or two APs per floor for Wi-Fi. However, if you don't want the fast fiber-optic internet connection to be slowed down by wireless transmission, you install network sockets. Then the Wi-Fi remains reasonably free for nomadic devices.
