Hi, as mentioned, the apartment actually rarely gets that cold. A base temperature of > 15 °C is given (possibly by heating). However, that is not enough to dry the towels, unfortunately. Infrared radiators look interesting but have the problem that they usually seem to be panels, on the back of which the wall mounting is rather awkwardly placed. In other words, you cannot hang a towel over it (one half in front and one behind the radiator), but you have to hang the towel double-layered in front of the panel. That is, of course, much less efficient. In principle, the residual heat does not bother me either. I would just try to time it so that I have the best balance of heating duration and drying with minimal residual heat. The radiator would in any case be connected to a Shelly so that I can turn it on and off or timer it quite precisely.

Will it even dry in the bathroom, not that it leads to mold.

Is maximum drying, meaning the "displacement" of moisture into the room air, and minimal heating really a good idea? I would be afraid of mold.

So far, no mold problems. However, the door is almost always open, so the moist air disperses throughout the apartment and becomes negligible given the size of the apartment. Ventilation is, of course, sufficient. And especially right after showering, so that the majority of the air is exchanged immediately.

Sorry, but this is so terribly written

After showering, ventilate sufficiently, close the bathroom, and then you can also treat the bathroom to heating level 3 and the towels will dry.

However, the temperature is quite sufficient for mold. It doesn't appear immediately, but very slowly and imperceptibly.
