Hi!

I had a similar problem once as well. I then used a cleaner from Meister Propper. The mold was actually quite easy to remove with it. Judging by the smell, there must be quite a lot of vinegar in the cleaner, as it also removes lime deposits very well. To be sure, I sprayed some disinfectant on it afterwards. So far, I have had no more problems with mold.

Best regards

Scrape off (caution, do not inhale!), disinfect with anti-mold spray and ventilate well. And remove everything, so if necessary, scrape off all the plaster and simply replaster (this is better in the long term than letting the mold continue to grow and ruin your entire kitchen) and then, yes, seal again with silicone. Get to work! Don't waste any time :)

Hello

If the mold is present once and is not properly removed afterwards, the mold will keep reappearing. It is very important to disinfect all wipeable affected areas thoroughly and, if necessary, replace the parts or the wall that is moldy. Mold will always find a way to reappear if it has not been removed properly.

Regards angel

Hi, you can try a chlorine cleaner at first, but if the mold is already in the silicone, that won’t help anymore. Then you can only remove the silicone completely and reapply the sealant. That’s annoying, but I wouldn’t know any other way for you to get rid of the mold.

you have to remove the silicone and put in a new one, there are special types that are suitable for damp areas. They include a barrier so that no new mold can form. That is the only thing I can advise you, that is all that helps.
