Do you have a cascade connection so that the heat pump runs via the photovoltaic system? What do you pay for metering operation and the 2 meters per year?

No, the effort for two meters is too high. Everything runs through one meter and that’s it, because the "discount" for the heat pump electricity would be eaten up by the additional costs of the second meter. This way, I can use the photovoltaic electricity in the household, for heating (to some extent), and for hot water.

Are you sure? Can you show me your supplier's measurement concept that you use? It should be available on the website. Just enter messkonzept and your supplier into Google.

I believe that if you do not have a heat pump cascade, the heat pump is not powered by the photovoltaic system!

I honestly don’t understand your question.

But I’m also not an electrician.

I have a metering point and behind it is the feed-in of the photovoltaic system and the two consumer circuits household and heat pump.

My photovoltaic system feeds in on all three phases and the heat pump draws on all three phases.

And the meter of the network operator even balances the consumption on the individual phases if necessary, because one phase consumes more at the moment than one phase of the photovoltaic system supplies.

Keyword netting meter. It doesn't matter at all whether the heat pump is connected to the same phase or, for example, the inverter only runs single-phase. The heat pump tariff is not worthwhile here either. In addition, the distributor charges more for the second meter. For determining self-consumption, a 30€ meter for the DIN rail is sufficient.

That's how it looks.

And I suspect measurement concept 2 from Westnetz. By the way, network operator, not supplier.

Between the cheapest heat pump tariff and the standard tariff, there are not 4 cents difference, but 120 euros meter fee for us.
