Do you have a water softener system?

We now want to decide between a Grünbeck SoftliQ:SC23 and a Judo Softwell P. I find it difficult to determine which is the better solution here. What should the focus be on? The two-column system of the Judo or the time-controlled regeneration of the Grünbeck? Difficult.

Grünbeck can handle a higher flow rate. Otherwise, it's a matter of belief.
How about the sanitary facilities, which one is geographically closer? The density of service partners differs significantly by region for both.

So the SoftliQ:SC23 should be more than enough. We also have it and are an 8-person household. The system is recommended for households of up to 12 people....

Heieiei, the entire post is going to be deleted right away because someone accidentally posts a link... you could also simply remove the link... oh well, whatever.

So once again:

Take a look at the datasheet of the SoftliQ:SC23. You can find it, for example, via Google search.

If you look at the diagram, the system is suitable for passing up to 600m³ per year at the 18°dH you mentioned.
So it should be more than enough.

Both are super available.

That it suffices is undisputed. I was interested in weighing both devices against each other.

I think you looked at the MC, right? I read 400m³. Otherwise, one could also take the SC18 (although it's not just about annual consumption but also about delivering enough water when one showers with 27 liters per minute and another flushes the toilet, etc.

One point that has not been addressed here at all:

Anyone who likes to drink a lot of tap water should do a direct comparison test. Many (including myself) simply do not like the taste of softened water. When I drink tap water in the homes of friends and acquaintances with a softening system, I repeatedly notice that it is not for me.
