Hello,
Well, the first one apparently tried to push a house on us... The second company offered us a rather cheap house.
I wonder how you came to your choice, according to what pattern do you want to select a potential building partner?
There are providers who can only offer their catalog houses at a low price; any deviation costs disproportionately more money. Then there is the so-called cheap faction, where a supposed bargain turns into a golden house at the end of the day; once all equipment wishes have been taken into account. Their focus is on cheap; everything that deviates from this business purpose must be purchased at a high price.
Then there are providers who don't mind starting with a blank sheet of paper; that’s how we also work. The structural analysis is only created when the approval-free building permit is available. BUT - providers who work like this also have a different claim to inspire potential builders for their offer. In their BB you won’t find 180mm insulation nor a tile format of 25 x 25; their offer prices reflect a medium standard from the outset. Of course, there is always room upwards.
You write that you have quite concrete ideas about the room layout. Has a salesperson ever commented on this? Is this design – I assume you are an amateur – even buildable? Have you signaled in the previous conversations that you are willing to accept possible changes to the dream house? And basically: have you conveyed your ideas in a personal conversation or merely asked for an offer via e-mail? In the latter case, I could understand that you don’t get any offers; I politely decline them. Just preparing a comparison offer is not worth the time for me; every offer requires explanation!
It’s nothing you should sign with the first passerby.

Only, to hold so little substance in your hands from April to mid-October is strange and explains the reaction of the users here.
Rhenish greetings
