Yes, that is a really good idea. If the foundation slab and the roof have fewer square meters, it will be cheaper. I always thought a bungalow was the most cost-effective type of construction, but I have learned that bungalows are actually relatively expensive because the roof and foundation slab are more complex and costly. Maybe you can always have two quotes made depending on the slope of the property. One with a basement and one without.

If you belittle problems, they don't become smaller. There is a slope, and it's not small. A house on a slope drives costs up. That's probably your topic then?!

I am aware that there is a slope there and I am also aware that this will mean increased costs. I am not downplaying anything. However, you are simply answering a question I did not ask.

On the topic of slope and savings: Build with the terrain and not against it. A good architect saves you a lot with intelligence. The tip for saving is: Investing something in architectural intelligence saves a lot of construction costs.

But you first have to find it, and unfortunately this is rather rare among the initially mentioned system providers with franchise systems.

Yes, they receive their money from the employer and therefore do not serve the client to the same extent as architects who are directly commissioned.
