You are doing something "wrong". I paid 399€ for the complete Telekom connection (in the basement) and activation and chose the tariff with a 2-week minimum contract period, which can then be terminated at any time, so that you can choose a cheaper provider. This way, you get both the connection and the provider of your choice very quickly and cheaply two weeks later. You just have to look for the tariff a bit, but it exists.

Nobody is doing anything wrong - I already wrote that Telekom changed the pricing model - sometime around mid-2015.

16 weeks - plus the setup afterwards.. Intense. When do you want to move in?

By the way, my records state that for trench lengths over 15m, the flat rate no longer applies and billing is done by the meter. Maybe this has now also been changed, take a close look at the order.
