When I enter the front door on the ground floor, I am in the hallway of WE1. WE1 and WE2 must be separate. Therefore, it would only work with an external staircase. Already 12.5% of the living area as window area in the basement is quite elaborate.

Not an option for us, as we don't want other people in the house. That is basically the reason why we are building in the first place. When we are old, an external staircase to the attic might be an option, so that we live on the ground floor.

I have now gone back to an older idea after all. This only makes the master bedroom/bathroom a bit narrow. The advantage, however, is now a tidy hallway, the front door facing east, and the basement stairs no longer winding in the utility room. The kitchen and living room have also gained a few centimeters. One children's room is now 2 m² smaller than the other.

On the one hand, I find 3.50 quite steep for the seating area to watch TV, on the other hand, the ratio of the parental area to the 12sqm children's room is disproportionate

hey, I also happily grew up in 12m² :D (in a 280sqm parental house :p) No, I don't really like that either.. but I can't do it better right now.

My current living room is 3.44 meters, I actually liked that. I guess I still have to visit some model homes. What would be "normal"? 4 meters?
