Yes, demolition is unfortunately extremely expensive. But especially for the exterior or obvious parts, it’s a job that you can quite well do yourself. For us, the dismantling is at least mostly planned to be done by ourselves. For the disposal of normal construction rubble like bricks, walls, screed, we get family rates: they provide a 7cbm container for free, pickup €68 and disposal €38 per ton. I calculated this once with a 10cbm buffer and come to about €2,100. I haven’t researched window and radiator disposal yet. But I would prefer to have the breakthrough for the attic staircase done professionally. When I see the individual prices, I always feel sick... Unfortunately, it doesn’t get any better with the total price. Man man man, that’s a lot of money... I didn’t get through the demolition work without shedding tears. Dismantling windows, roller shutter box, front door, entrance stairs €3,700.00 Creating a new stairwell in the ground floor ceiling €1,000.00 Breaking up ground floor floor coverings + screed approx. 140m² x €20 €2,800.00 man man man... Some people really enjoy themselves there. Good for them. I’m happy for them
True, the door can be moved to the right and open to the right. Then the shower could be enlarged and the partition wall extended a bit so that maybe a narrow tall cabinet could be placed on the side of the washbasins. Possibly the bathtub and toilet could be swapped. That would have the advantage that you could look out the window from the tub. However, the disadvantage that you look at the toilet from the shower. We also don’t want a bidet, so the niche can be made smaller. I will work on this in the bathroom planner over the weekend and see how it looks. I will summarize the individual trades later, maybe it will then be easier to make a statement about accuracy :)The bathroom will be very nice like this. Possibly move the door to the right and make the shower bigger. Also, the door should open to the right (according to my taste)
