Copy planning

Hello,

I hope this hasn't been asked yet - I couldn't find anything:

I designed a kitchen for friends using the Ikea planner and now want to send it to them by email or something so they can tweak or adjust it themselves. Is it possible for them to upload this plan into their planner or does everything have to be entered again individually? It's less about making changes and more about them being able to view it in the 3D version.

I created an account for them, so I could copy from my account to theirs myself.

Your friends just need to log in with your data and can then view your saved kitchen design.
Can they then change it or create further plans?

Thank you, Brummsummsal. That would be great, but they are in France and do not understand the German information. However, I have sent them loads of screenshots, let's see if that is enough. ;)

You have the option in the planner to send the plan via email. This sends a URL where you can view and edit the plan without logging in. You can then save it again under a new or an already existing user.

If you want to transfer the whole thing to the planner of another Ikea country website, there is no official function for that. However, it worked for me to change the code in the URL accordingly when I planned a Metod kitchen on the Swedish site in 2013 and then transferred the plans from SE to DE in 2014 (by then the kitchen planner in DE had also been switched to Metod).

Wow, thank you, fleptin, it worked with switching DE to FR. Somehow and despite the software complaining a few times, it finally saved my plan to the French account. I sent the access data to the friends and hope they manage. Thanks again!!
