You're mistaken there. Since most people only look at the sum at the bottom left, the LAN/WLAN is usually calculated with a rough estimate. As you yourself write, these are often basic routers with a reasonably passable range.

Mesh is still an acceptable crutch, but repeaters really have no place in new buildings. But yes, as already noted, philosophies.

And yet it's susceptible to interference and overloaded. Why would you rely on technology that's slowly dying?

Wireless for shading is IMHO completely fine. But if you want more, you should leave it be.

I also find radio motors on the shutters useful in that even a moderately equipped burglar can comfortably open the shutters from the car.

With us, there is the classic variant: relay control: each shutter has its own switch in a central location and above that a common control including a timer. Sure, such a switch panel doesn't look exactly aesthetic. But it is cheap, functional, safe, and resistant to errors...

Radio != Radio.

Whoever cracked my WPA2 Wi-Fi probably doesn't care much about my blinds. I'd find my online banking or something like that more interesting...

I doubt that closed roller shutters without the appropriate protection class really provide burglar protection. These can be pried open within seconds or venetian blinds easily torn off. Therefore, this is not an argument for me.

As BigFoot already said: Whoever cracks WPA2, RC4, or AES just like that, "works" preferably in cyberspace. There is more to gain there than in Mrs. Meier's or Mr. Müller's house.

Hello,
I would like to return to the original question because I am interested in the answer. Please excuse any imprecise wording; I am just beginning to familiarize myself with the topic.

Can't you just connect several roller shutters to one relay? Assuming you know that you always want to switch them together? Or am I imagining that too simply?

And one more question about the frequently mentioned radio-controlled roller shutters:
Would you prefer roller shutter motors with radio control or simple motors connected by cable to radio relays (which can then be operated by switches or a radio control center)?

Regarding 1) You don't even need a relay for that. It's enough if you simply have all the wires at the switch. Depending on which wire you have where, it's either easy or you have to fiddle around a bit. But basically, it's MUCH simpler than a central switch plus, for example, 3 individual ones.

Regarding 2) Both are possible. You probably don't have radio motors, so I would recommend a radio switch. It probably costs less and involves less effort.

On the topic) Radio or not. I doubt anyone will break into my average house. I also use a radio provider, but only because I simply can't do the other myself. Everything works flawlessly. From roller shutters to weather control to dimming and cameras. Whoever has the necessary money can have it done with KNX or similar. Those who know what they're doing program it themselves, and those who have a lot of time and motivation learn it independently, but I consider the scaremongering about burglars to be massively exaggerated. Radio is definitely less secure than closed systems, but here it's portrayed as if my neighbor can watch YouTube videos and then get into my system.
