Hello,

Hello,

The basement is not expensive because of the waterproofing, but because of its size and partial development as living space. In the case of pressing groundwater, the costs for waterproofing – depending on the implementation – are only between EUR 6,000 and 8,000.

You need the controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery, otherwise, in my opinion, you won’t meet KfW 70.

Real RC II costs a lot of money; however, there are cheaper alternatives – ask the criminal police.

One thing leads to another, but then we are no longer in the "medium standard" segment.

Yes, I see it exactly that way. The equipment drives the price per sqm/living space upwards.

Yes, but as mentioned above – without controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery, you won’t reach KfW 70, and you might still face additional costs regarding insulation/wall thickness or technology, depending on the calculation and the property’s exposure to the sun.

Kind regards

Thank you all for your assessments. Now I at least know that I am not building at completely outrageous prices....

No, you are not building at "moon prices"! I was also startled at first, but as it looks, everything is above board with you!

Just wanted to give you a little update. We are now at exactly 300 TEU with some own work (tiles in the basement and insulation of the roof from the inside including drywall work and all painting work; outdoor facilities are not included). However, about 15 TEU extra will come for a higher-quality selection (bathroom/tiles/parquet). The kitchen will also cost about 15 TEU and the chimney about 6-7 TEU. So the house with garage will be about 337-340 TEU. Additional costs then for water/phone/electricity/surveying/building application/construction electricity/construction water etc. ([so ca. 15-17TEU]). So roughly 355-360 TEU. I find that pretty expensive. Especially since the land is not included and was already purchased separately. And we really don't have a big house....... but at least it's ours!!!
