Ah okay, understood about the cistern or not needing one ;) currently tending towards the simple "rain barrel" 800l on two sides of the house, done

That should be the common phrasing, which means: take care of where the rainwater goes. A retention basin is expensive, the cheapest is a cistern. There are simple ones that collect and infiltrate, and ones that collect for you, which you can then use for the garden. Others know more about that. But it always means: builder, take care of the rainwater. Because the downpipes end above the ground. Some municipalities offer a monthly buyout, which is then like the wastewater bill.

Instead of clarification, more vague. I don't get it. 3 companies are allowed to build, 2 are not! Huh? :oops:

Ah okay, too bad, I thought catching it in the rain barrel was enough... So "buying out"... We actually don't want a cistern...
